Renee Piccolo

Renee studied for her PhD thesis on the feasibility of coastal ecosystem restoration. She was co-funded by a CSIRO scholarship. She was awarded her PhD in 2024.

Key publications from her research were:

• Developing a systematic framework that can be used to consider and quantify feasibility of coastal restoration actions

• Showing how priority locations for coastal restoration can be very different if we account for the risk of cyclones or land-tenure uncertainty
